Stearman N2S\Kaydet

During the 1930's and 40's there were 8584 Stearman Model 75 produced. Known to the Navy as the N2S and the Army Air Corps as the Kaydet, the ruggedly constructed biplane design was used extensively by both as a trainer aircraft.

This example, a 1943 N2S, in civilian colors was restored to flying condition by Jim and Marie Long of Chico, California. The owner and aircraft were awarded the trophy for "Ex-Military Aircraft (no markings)" at the 2007 Merced Antique Fly-In.
