A United States Coast Guard HH-65C Dolphin patrols San Francisco Bay during 2007 San Francisco Fleet Week activities. The mission of the Aerospatiale built HH-65 "Dolphin" helicopter is to perform search and rescue, enforce laws and treaties, drug interdiction, polar ice breaking, marine environmental protection, and pollution control. Though the HH-65A is normally stationed ashore it is capable of landing and taking off from the 210-foot WMEC, 270-foot WMEC, and 378-foot WHEC Coast Guard Cutters. These cutters are capable of refueling and supporting the helicopter for the duration of a cutter patrol.
