A highly modified P-51D Mustang, owned by Ron Buccerelli and named "Precious Metal," taxies along the ramp at Stead Field in Nevada following the 2007 Reno Air Races. Modified for racing the standard Rolls Royce Merlin motor has been replaced by a Rolls Royce Griffon motor that includes contra rotating propellers as well as a smaller canopy. Photographed 09/07
