Teakettle Junction along Racetrack Valley Road in Death Valley National Park. Passersby hang teakettles, often inscribed with a message, on the signpost at the junction of Racetrack Valley Road and Hidden Valley Road in violation of National Park Service Policy. The tradition reportadly dates back to an early explorer of the area that left he teakettle at this junction and others have added their own. Photographed 4/08
