Canadian Navy Kingston class patrol Vessel HMCS Whitehorse (MM 705) sails into San Francisco Bay during the 2009 Fleet Week Parade of Ships. The Whitehorse was launched on 4 February 1997 and was officially commissioned into the Canadian Forces on 17 April 1998 and carries the pennant number 705. HMCS Whitehorse is assigned to Maritime Forces Pacific (MARPAC) and is homeported at CFB Esquimalt.
