The United States Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf (WMSL 750) passes by Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay on its way to its new home port in Alameda, California. The Bertholf was launched on September 29, 2006 at the Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi and was christened on November 11, 2006. It is the first of the Legend class maritime security cutters to enter the Coast Guard fleet. Photographed 7/23/08
