Owned by Sander's Aviation, and piloted during the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races by CJ Stephens, the Hawker Sea Fury 'Argonaut' sits on the ramp prior to a heat race. During Friday's heat race Argonaut's R3350 motor suffered a catostrophic failure forcing Stephens to mayday and expertly pilot the aircraft to an emergency landing while streaming flames and smoke.
