At California's Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, between 1933 and 1941, the CCC built campgrounds, picnic areas, a campfire center, stone restrooms as well as the main lodge with post office and cabins. Some of the picnic table rock work and diablo stoves can still be found in the campgrounds.
