Legendary pilot Bob Love flies his P-51 Mustang "Bernie's Bo" over the Livermore, California, airport during flight in 1985. Bob was an instructor pilot in the P-38 lightning during the World War II and became an ace in the Korean War flying the F-86 Sabre. Bob also participated regularly at the Reno Air Races each September. Bob passed away in the fall of 1986 and his Mustang since been owned by Russ Francis, Bill Dause, and is now owned by Dream Machines LLC.
