The Royal Canadian Navy coastal defence vessel HMCS Nanaimo, (mm 702), enters San Francisco Bay during 2007 San Francisco Fleet Week activities. The Nanaimo was Commissioned in 1996 and is the second Canadian Warship to carry the name. HMCS Nanaimo is the third of twelve ships built under Candada's Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel Program and the first designated for service in Joint Task Force Pacific. The homeport of the Nanaimo is Nanaimo, British Columbia. Photographed 10/07
