Moss and lichen cover the side railing of the Jordan Creek Bridge on an abandoned section of the Avenue of the Giants near Pepperwood along the Redwood Highway in Northern California. Closed to traffic since 1960 when an original 31 mile long section of US 101 was bypassed by a 4 lane highway.
