The S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien is escorted back to its berth after taking passengers on a day long cruise through San Francisco Bay during the 2008 San Francisco Fleet Week activities. A floating memorial to the Merchant Marine's and Navy sailors that carried the supplies across both oceans during the World War II the SS Jeremiah O'Brien is one of the few remaining Liberty Ships still operational. The Jeremiah O'Brien was used in the movie Titanic and participated in the invasion of Normandy.
