Clarence "Bud" Anderson taxies the TF-51D Mustang "Lady Jo" after completing a flight during a gathering hosted by Dream Machines Inc. at Sacramento Executive Airport on January 30, 2009. Anderson was born on January 13, 1922 in Oakland, California, and earned his wings and commission as a second lieutenant in September 1942. During WWII Bud became a Triple Ace credited with 16 1/4 victories while flying with the 357th Fighter Group in the European Theatre.
